Replacing a boiler is always a very costly endeavour that many people are reluctant to undertake, however by taking advantage of a boiler grant you will save a substantial amount (if not all) of the money on this upfront cost. The homeowner or someone living in the property in question must be in receipt of one of the below benefits or the property must fall into the LA Flex criteria outlined.
To be eligible for the grant that will cover all / some of the upfront cost for replacing your old or broken boiler, the boiler at the property in question needs to be at least 7 years old, if you have a suspended floor or cavity wall that can be insulated – then we insulate them as part of the grant as treating these measures will heavily subsidise the cost of your new replacement boiler. When we have recieved confirmation that you are grant-eligible, we will arrange for one of our Gas Safe registered installers to carry out a free no obligation survey on your property, it would be at this point we will let you know the amount of funding ( full / partial) that could be allocated to your new boiler.
NewGen’s installer network are Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Ideal & Glow-Worm approved and all installs are carried out by fully qualified, insured & Gas Safe approved engineers, in addition, all work caries a minimum 2-5 year warranty.
Funded boiler installation

Who else is eligible and are there any limits to funding?
If you privately rent or own your property within England, Scotland or Wales and you or anyone in your household are receiving any of the benefits listed, then you may be entitled to government backed funded home efficiency measures.
If no-one in the household is receiving any benefits you could still qualify through LA Flex (the local authorities way to access funding) so please visit the “grants” page and get in touch.
The value of how much funding available to you depends upon the following variables:
- Type of property (terrace, detached. semi, bungalow etc)
- Number of bedrooms
- Heating system (gas, electric, LPG etc)
- Wall type (solid, cavity wall, timber framed)

LA Flexibility
If no-one in the household receives any of the above you could still qualify through LA Flexibility, if your property is E, F or G rated on the EPC register or if you do not have an EPC. (LA Flex is the Local Authority’s way to access ECO funding)
