Boilers
Free boilers… FREE!?
Under the government’s 2018 ECO scheme, eligible homeowners who claim specific benefits or qualify through LA Flex can have their ageing, inefficient boiler replaced for free.
Installation of all boilers (free or otherwise) are carried out by our fully qualified, insured and approved Gas Safe installers.
In addition, all boilers installed are covered under warranty.
Eligibility requires…
- Must be claiming benefits or qualify through LA Flex
- Must be homeowner
- Must have 7+ year old boiler
- Must have mains-gas or LPG
Electric Storage Heaters
Free storage heater grants!
As part of the ECO scheme, free/reduced cost replacement storage heaters are available to qualifying homeowners or tenants.
As government grants are non-repayable, it means that you are not required to pay any money back at any point in the future. The size of your home determines whether the grant will be free, or heavily subsidised.
Eligibility requires…
- Must be claiming benefits or qualify through LA Flex
- Must be homeowner/private tenant
- Must have old, inefficient or faulty electric heaters, or no central heating
Cavity, Wall & Loft Insulation
Get free loft/cavity wall insulation for your home

You are entitled to this free insulation grant if you are a homeowner or privately rent your property; no matter your property size, as long as someone in the household receives one qualifying benefit, or, falls into the LA Flex criteria.

Landlords
Attention ALL landlords! New energy requirements from April 2018!
As from the 1st April 2018 there will be a requirement for any properties rented out in the private rented and social sector to have a minimum energy performance rating of E on an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This will criteria will change to D by 2025.
It will be unlawful to rent a property which breaches the requirement for a minimum E rating, unless there is an applicable exemption. A civil penalty of up to £4,000 will be imposed for breaches across ALL of your properties.
