To be eligible for a grant that will cover the cost of fitting new electric storage heaters, the homeowner or someone living in the property in question must be in receipt of one of the benefits listed below, or fall into the LA Flex criteria. When we have received confirmation that you are grant-eligible, a member of our team will carry out a free, no-obligation survey on your property that will allow us to work out the funding available for your new electric storage heaters.
Installation of all electric heaters (free or otherwise) are carried out by qualified JIB registered electricians. In addition, all our electric heaters come with a 12 year manufacturer’s warranty for total peace of mind.
As grants are non-repayable, it means that you are not required to pay any money back at any point in the future. The size of your home determines whether the grant will be free, or heavily subsidised.

Who else is eligible and are there any limits to funding?
If you privately rent or own your property within England, Scotland or Wales and you or anyone in your household are receiving any of the benefits listed, then you may be entitled to government backed funded home efficiency measures.
If no-one in the household is receiving any benefits you could still qualify through LA Flex (the local authorities way to access funding) so please visit the “grants” page and get in touch.
The value of how much funding available to you depends upon the following variables:
- Type of property (terrace, detached. semi, bungalow etc)
- Number of bedrooms
- Heating system (gas, electric, LPG etc)
- Wall type (solid, cavity wall, timber framed)

LA Flexibility
If no-one in the household receives any of the above you could still qualify through LA Flexibility, if your property is E, F or G rated on the EPC register or if you do not have an EPC. (LA Flex is the Local Authority’s way to access ECO funding)
